Ocean Lyrics

OCEAN
By Richard

Crossing beyond familiar horizons

In search of fortune we came,
Forgetting our flesh and blood
We flew here in earnest
Oh all the sorrows in each of our families
We forget ourselves in seeking to rescind them.

We rise before the birds,
Dutifully, responsibly we set off for our tasks
Man and machines are not all that different it seems,
Burdens, heavy as they may be, are still filled with
goodness.

Different languages, different creed.
Yet our love does not lessen
In sickness and disability, looking out for each other.
Yet, Mother, is that anything in this world that can
be greater than your Love?

Translated by Bharathi Manogaran and Prashant Somosundram.
